Description
This complete Peitz brake shoe set is suitable for replacing worn or damaged brake shoes in compatible braked trailer axles. The set is intended for brake drums with an inner diameter of 160 mm and a width of 35 mm.
The brake shoe set contains two primary and two secondary brake shoes. In addition, the necessary retaining springs and tension springs are included, so that the most important components for renewing the brake lining are present in one set.
The set is designed as type EBG12U R234/76 (Type RT) and is suitable for Peitz braking systems with the corresponding dimensions and type designation. Always check the brake type, the dimensions of the existing brake drum, and the reference on the existing brake components before ordering. The drum size alone is not always sufficient to determine the correct brake shoe set.
For uniform braking performance, it is recommended to replace the brake shoes per axle as a complete set. During installation, also check the condition of the brake drums, brake cables, springs, and other components of the braking system. Correct installation and adjustment are important for the reliable operation of the trailer brakes.
